Is time for another roundup of free patterns, this time is a compilation of Baby Hat Free Knitting Patterns for Newborns
Baby hats is one of my favorite projects to knit for many reasons. It’s always a quick project and gives me the satisfaction of having a finish item, in a sea of WIPs. I can use any yarn I have around and it will be enough. Is great to use up remaining yarn from bigger projects, but that’s too little for anything else that is not baby size. And last, because they make great charity projects and they can help babies stay warm, and I know they will just look adorable. Especially if you get a pro in to take the shots. You might want to look for newborn photography Madison AL, or something similar in your area, to get photos of your special little guy or gal.
Other great things about knitted baby hats is that they make for great photo props. That you could make to gift to a photographer friend, or maybe even to sell. (Although you’d have to check each pattern individually to make sure the designer gives permission to sell items made with their patterns)
Either way, if you’re looking to make some knitted hats for babies, just to use up your yarn, as a baby shower gift, or for a new member in the family; here is a curated list of all kinds of free knitting patterns, that will tell you how to recreate lovely baby hats.
From beginner to more intermediate patterns, some really simple and clean in appearance, and others with more sass and style.
Now all you need to so is pick your favorite free knitting pattern, select your yarn and needle, and start making the perfect knitted baby hat!
