This morning I was having a frozen croissant sandwich for breakfast. Sometimes I have a couple in the freezer for those mornings that I wake up with no energy at all and prefer to grab something quick instead of cooking.
But then it got me thinking that a sausage, egg, and cheese sandwich is not that hard to make and put together.
And it will be cheaper and depends, on the choice if ingredients, even healthier than store-bought.
I thought about creating a recipe/tutorial for them, but decided to look what’s already created, and indeed, I found quite a lot of ideas and recipes not only for breakfast sandwiches, but burritos and breakfast bowls, and other delicious options for frozen breakfast.
So here is the list of my favorite ones, the ones that look easy enough not to discourage me to actually make them, that have good instructions and the ones that I would actually make for myself and my family.

Is there another type of container I can use rather than the ramekins?
Sure you can! Anything that is freezer friendly will do.
What’s the best way to preVent freezer burns pin On them shei ‘ll a
I’m sorry, but what do you mean by: pin On them shei ‘ll a?
I’m sure is a typo, but because of that I’m not sure what you mean
Quiche freezes very well btw. I worked at a daycare and I made (most) of our meals ahead of time and froze them and it was a big hit, they were precooked so you just had to quickly warm them up in the microwave after thawing!
The only suggestion I would make is to freeze them separately on baking sheets, then toss them into bags (this for pancakes also) which prevents them from sticking together. We do this when we separate meats from their large packs (Costco)….chops, sausages etc. Then we can remove as many as we want! 🙂
That’s a great suggestion! I do that when I prepare empanadas and I want to freeze them. Otherwise they get all stuck and can break.
