Crescendo Shawl

Crescendo Shawl is an asymmetrical shawl, crocheted side to side in one piece featuring stripes that progressively grow in size after each color change.

Crescendo is a musical term that indicates a gradual increase in volume. Just as this shawl gradual grows in size as is being worked.

Row after row, each stripe is increased, adding a subtle but eye catching effect.
These stripes combined with the use of variegated yarn, not only adds an unique contrast, but also makes the shawl look more intricate, while remaining an easy project created using only basic crochet stitches.
