I just love everything pumpkin! And is no different when it comes to crochet.
I really wanted to create something inspired in pumpkin spice, so I selected 2 very obvious colors to do the job.
I got 2 skeins of Yanspirations Caron Simply soft in the colors off white, and pumpkin (of course!!)

I love this scarf! I am getting so frustrated though because I have torn it out several times .Even though I count my stitches I am still ending up with extra stiches . I’m ready to throw in the towel but I want to complete it so I can wear it! I just cant figure out what im doing wrong! anyone else having difficulty?
Oh no! I’m so sorry to hear you are having trouble with this pattern.
With every round of single crochet, you stitch count should reset back to 155, but when doing the “V” stitches round I only counted the “Vs” to make it easier.
Please let me know how I could help you, and if you have any questions.
Hi Mary,
Yes only counting the v stiches in those rounds, but somehow I’m ending up with 52. I think I’m confused as to whether or not I’m supposed to be counting chain one as a stitch or not. When I get to the end of a V stitch round, after I count 51 I’m still left with 4 extra stitches. Do you happen to have a video somewhere on how to begin and end a round? I’m in love with this scarf and I really want to complete it. Any help that you can give me Mary would be so helpful.
If you have a facebook account you can go to facebook.com/craftytut and write to me there via private message. I will be able to respond much faster to help you. And unfortunately I don’t have any video to help with this particular pattern. But I can send you close-up photos of my cowl so you can see it, and maybe you can send me photos of your project id you would like, to see if I can notice where is the problem.
