I am extremely happy to share with you my very first publication on I Like Crochet Magazine!

I am not new to the I Like Knitting magazine, BUT this is my very first pattern to be published in a Crochet magazine.

crochet sweater

It also happens to be my very first crochet sweater.
Both ever made and ever designed.
I have made and designed tops and vest in the past, so I was already familiarized with the base shaping and construction.
Yet, is the first crochet garment with sleeves that I made and designed.

This comfortable lightweight sweater is perfect for those late summer nights that are slowly turning into chilly fall weather.
Featuring cute little crocheted stars, this sweater is for those free spirits that want to wear something fun and edgy.

Pair it with your favorite jeans and some ankle booties for the perfect fall outfit.

Every girl needs a comfy and cozy sweater, but looks cute and stylish.

With sizes: XS to 5XL

The Star of Something New Sweater is part of the “Starry Nights” collection, featured on the I Like Crochet Magazine on their August 2018 Issue.

Knit picks Hawthorne Fingering Kettle Dye Yarn

The Star of Something New Sweater was designed with Knit Picks Hawthorne Fingering.
The sample features the colors Delphium (main sweater) and Slate (stars).

Knit Picks Hawthorne Fingering is a 80% Superwash Fine Highland Wool, 20% Polyamide blend.
Great for garments, so you don’t have to hand-wash such a big item.
The Highland wool will keep you warm, while the polyamide will provide your garment that sturdiness it needs to last many uses.

And although the sample is shown in Knit Picks Hawthorne Fingering Kettle Dye,  the Hawthorne family is all created using the same wool blend, you will have a wonderful palette to choose from.
