Easter basket – crochet free pattern

      Pattern

1. In a magic ring, ch 2 (counts as first hdc); 7 hdc; ss to close (8)
2.  ch 2; hdc in same st; 2 hdc in each st;  ss to close (16)
3. ch 2; hdc in same st; hdc; * 2 hdc in each st; hdc* repeat ** ss to close (24)
4. ch 2; hdc in same st; 2 hdc; * 2 hdc in each st; 2 hdc* repeat ** ss to close (32)
5. ch 2; hdc in same st; 3 hdc; * 2 hdc in each st; 3 hdc* repeat ** ss to close (40)
6. ch 2; hdc in each st around, but working on the back loop (40)
7. trough 10. ch 2; hdc in each st around, but working on both loops again (40)

11. trough 25. ch 2; 5 hdc. Fasten off and then sew to the opposite side of basket.

Then, you can decorate  the little basket as you want,
I sewed little bunny and Easter eggs appliques.
