This tutorial will provide a visual aid on how to execute the written pattern.
You can choose to follow the photo tutorial (found first), or the video tutorial (found last at the bottom of this post), or even check both.

Easy Knit Baby Booties Tutorial

Start by casting on 36 sts for the newborn size, or 44 sts for the 6/12 MO size.

Work in garter stitch (knit every row) until piece measures 2″ (for NB size) or 3″ (for 6/12 MO size).

Bind off 9 sts (NB size) or 11 sts (6/12 MO size), knit to end of row. (27, 33 sts remain)

Bind off 9 sts (NB size) or 11 sts (6/12 MO size), knit to end of row. (18, 22 sts remain)

K3, *yo, skk – Repeat from * to last 3 sts, k3.

Then continue working until the piece measures 3″ (NB size) or 4″ (6/12 MO size)

Bind off.

Fold the bootie in half, with RS inside.

Sew edges.

Turn it inside out. And thread a ribbon, or string thru the eyelet openings.

Repeat instructions for second bootie.
